Subject: EDRE Course Offerings for Fall 2013

Please share the following information about special Fall 2013 EDRE
course offerings with both your doctoral and masters students.

The following three courses are usually offered in alternating years,
so after this Fall 2013 will probably not be offered again until Fall
2015:
---EDRE 7520: Ethnography
---EDRE 7600: Multivariate Methods & Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)
---EDRE 7620: Computer Applications with a focus on Hierarchical
Linear Modeling (HLM)

One section of EDRE 7200: Educational Statistics will be offered on
Tuesday nights in Fall 2013 (a section of EDRE 7210: Regression
Analysis will be offered on Tuesday nights in Spring 2014). Please
let your students know that next year was designated for the
Quantitative Sequence for "EDRE Night" so even though we are offering
both 7200 and 7500 on Tuesday nights next fall, they should take 7200
in Fall 2013 if they need both courses at night. That is, 7200 may
not be offered at night in Fall 2014, but 7500 will be.

And a reminder that a more Qualitative version of EDRE 7330: Research
Design will be offered on Tuesday nights in Spring 2014. We will also
be offering our EDRE 7120: Item Response Theory course in Spring 2014.

Thank you very much.
~~~Gordon
