Hello Dr. Gut;****

 ****

I'm not sure if you'll quite remember me. I graduated from Ohio University
in 2009 in the College of Teacher Education, I have acquired a position on
the Board of Directors of a not-for-profit organization called NASAGA
(North American Simulation and Gaming Association). NASAGA is made up
primarily of trainers, educators, and gaming enthusiasts who understand the
importance of using games, simulations, and other interactive methods to
teach others. It has been around for 50 years and is hosting it's
conference in Columbus for the first time in November 2012 (November 7-10).*
***

 ****

As one of the co-hosts for the upcoming conference, I would like to
personally invite you and any of your students, faculty and staff to
attend. We also have openings for breakout presenters, if anyone at Ohio
University is interested in sharing any interactive methods currently being
used - presenters get a discount to the conference and the opportunity to
showcase what they do during our Expo Night (a great way to get Ohio
University's name out there!).****

 ****

We also have scholarship opportunities for students! The scholarship pays
for the cost of the conference. The students are welcome to present
information regarding gaming/ education and how games can help facilitate
educational opportunities. Even without a scholarship, students may attend
at a discounted rate, and if they become presenters, they are discounted
even more!****

 ****

As a non-profit organization, we are also always happy to receive donations
- anything from little trinkets to give to our attendees, to a donation for
our silent or live auction, to a cash donation. ****

 ****

For more information on our organization, please visit us at www.nasaga.org.
I've included our Call for Proposals document, conference flyer, and
scholarship application. Please let me know if there is someone else at
Ohio University that I should contact. I hope to see lots of Ohio
University professors and students in attendance! ****

Thanks for your time!****
