*Overview:*

The AAUW administers two fellowship programs:  one for domestic and one for
international women doctoral students.****

*American Fellowships*

**·         **Support women scholars completing doctoral dissertations or
conducting postdoctoral research****

**·         **Recipients must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.****

** **

Doctoral****

**·         **Must complete dissertation writing between July 1 2012 and
June 30, 2013.****

**·         **Degree conferral between April 1 and Sept. 15 2013.****

**·         **Open to all fields. ****

**·         **Scholars engaged in science, technology, engineering and math
and also researching gender issues are especially encouraged to apply.****

Postdoctoral:****

**·         **1 yr support for women in tenure-track positions****

**·         **Must have earned doctoral degree by Nov. 5, 2011****

**·         **Available for the arts and humanities, social sciences, and
natural sciences****

*International Fellowships*

**·         **Supports full-time study or research in the US.****

**·         **Supports graduate and postgraduate study.****
