[Itech] IT Courses and Information for Winter Quarter

Dear Graduates:

Please register online at the OU registration site in My OHIO for the
following courses to be offered in the Winter Quarter in the Instructional
Technology Programs.  All courses meet in 217/215e McCracken Hall and you
are expected to bring a laptop with 4GB Ram and a hard drive. We do not care
if it is a PC or Mac.

*MED Computer Education and Technology Program (2 sections each; Friday 5:10
to 9:00 pm and Sat. 8:30 am to 12:30 pm) *
Required face-to-face meeting dates are: January 6, 7; February 3, 4; March
2, 3 on the Athens Campus, room 217/215e McCracken Hall)  Bring your laptop
and needed software.  There are no required textbooks for the MED courses
Winter Quarter.  EDCT 602 will start the quarter using iMovie (MAC) or
MovieMaker (PC).  Your instructor will provide you with information of other
software that may be needed before the beginning of the Winter Quarter.

*Concerning Snow and other Winter Weather Issues*
If Athens County or any county in which you must drive through is at a level
2 or 3 emergency due to weather concerns, you are not required to be in
class.  The class will be broadcast through the use of Adobe Connect.  You
will be required to connect to the class over Adobe Connect.  The link will
be posted in Blackboard for your to connect with the class.

Faculty are typically busy with Dissertations, Theses defenses, and
committee work during the week of Finals so be sure to see your faculty
advisor if needed before Finals Start.
