GREAT NEWS!  Thanks to a generous grant from Google, California educators
and schools are now able to use Google SketchUp Pro 8 with absolutely no
fees ($495 value)!

SketchUp Pro is 3D modeling software which allows anyone to model in 3D
quickly and accurately using an easy and intuitive interface.  Teachers are
using it on many grade levels and in many subject areas from computer
technology to math, geography, and science.

To receive your 3-year license, follow these steps:

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
1. If you already have a TechCONNECT-IT account (free), click this link 
http://www.techconnectk12.org/pg/groups/9147/google-group/, log in, and skip
to step 7)
2. If you DO NOT have a TechCONNECT-IT account (free), click this link 
http://www.techconnectk12.org/pg/register/, open an account, confirm your
registration via email, and log in to the site
3. Click TOOLS in the upper navigation bar
4. Click COMMUNITIES
5. Click the NEWEST tab
6. Click GOOGLE GROUP
*7. Click JOIN COMMUNITY in the side navigation bar*
8. Under ‘Community Pages’, click SKETCHUP PRO K-12 STATEWIDE GRANT
9. Follow the mailing instructions listed
