Graduates,

For those of you looking for positions, just a reminder: Sometimes you have
to take a position that is not at the level you seek and work your way up
the ladder. While there are still jobs in IT and ID, some are being offered
at lower ranks due to the economy. My experience of going through the
recession in the mid-80s was that when the economy turned around, everyone
got raises to bring salaries back to expected levels. You may want to
interview for a position and take the lower position to get your foot in the
door -- so to speak! Then you have an opportunity to gain experience, have
employment references to help you make the move to the next position when
the recession ends.

Just some thoughts....
Dr. Franklin
