Institute for Health Care Management (NIHCM) Foundation</span></a> is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to transforming health care through evidence and collaboration.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p style="mso-margin-top-alt:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:12.0pt;margin-left:0in;box-sizing: border-box">
<span style="font-family:"open sans",serif;color:#333333">To further its mission, the foundation supports innovative investigator-initiated research with the potential to inform improvements to the U.S. healthcare system. Projects must advance the existing
knowledge base in the areas of healthcare financing, delivery, management, and/or policy. In the first seven years of the program, the foundation awarded nearly $2.1 million in support of thirty-seven studies.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<span style="font-family:"open sans",serif;color:#333333">In 2019-2020. the foundation is making approximately $500,000 available and expects to fund eight to nine studies.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
