"The Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM), one of the nation's newest and most innovative medical schools, located in beautiful Las Cruces, New Mexico, invites applications for a Chair and faculty positions in Family and Community Medicine/Primary Care.

The Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine seeks to fill up to two (2) faculty positions in the clinical disciplines with an emphasis on teaching didactic medical topics to undergraduate medical students, including a Chair position.
Teaching is the primary focus of our faculty. The College has implemented a spiral, modified systems-based curriculum that will integrate disciplines to facilitate a comprehensive integration of the basic sciences into clinic applications.
The successful candidate will function as a member of a collaborative teaching team to develop and deliver their instructional content within an integrated curriculum. Primary responsibilities will involve teaching medical students through the systems-based courses during the first two years. Integration with basic sciences and clinical learning in order to help students apply foundational scientific and clinical knowledge in the clinical clerkship setting."
