Hi Fellows:  Congratulations to Kelli Ward, D.O., Health Policy Fellowship Class of 2002-2003, who won an Arizona State Senate seat in yesterday's election.
Kelli serves as regional medical director of the North Country Health Care Community Health Center in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. She also is a clinical faculty member of the Midwestern University/Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale.  Honored for her work, Dr. Ward was named Young Family Physician of the Year in 2008 by the ACOFP and Physician of the Year in 2007 by the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association (AOMA). Dr. Ward has served as president of AOMA and is past president of the Arizona Society of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.  Dr. Ward earned her osteopathic medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg.
