Health Policy Poster Presentations on Sunday, November 1st from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Dr. Barbara Ross-Lee will present recommendations from the recent paper she co-authored with Richard (Buz) Cooper, M.D. (et al), Physicians and Their Practices Under Health Care Reform, at the AOA Bureau of State Government Affairs meeting, Tuesday, November 3rd from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. in the Jasperwood room at the Hilton.

AOA Bureau of Federal Health Programs invites you to a Town Hall and Health Care Reform Panel on Tuesday, November 3, 8:00 a.m. -10:30 a.m. in the La Louisiane Ballroom C,  Morial Convention Center featuring
*       Janet Marchibroda, IBM Executive
*       Joseph Antos, American Enterprise Institute
*       David Kendall, Third Way health policy expert
*       Kavita Patel, MD, Senior Health Policy Advisor to the Obama Administration

        Janet Marchibroda will discuss health information technology (HIT) and funding opportunities available through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to help physicians adopt HIT. Joe Antos, David Kendall, and Kavita Patel will each provide their perspectives on the current state of play in health care reform.  In conclusion, the moderator will ask the panelists to respond to written questions provided by the audience.
