[Hlthpol] Fellows' Activities Update

Damon A. Schranz, D.O., FACOFP, HPF Class of 2008 of Fort Worth, Texas was installed as the Texas ACOFP President for the 2009-2010 term.

According to the Texas ACOFP website, Dr. Schranz is a 1998 graduate of the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth and serves as Assistant Professor, and Medical Director of Central Family Medicine Clinic.

He completed his internship at the Osteopathic Medical Center of Texas in 1999 as well as his residency in 2001. He completed his Faculty Development Fellowship in Waco FDC in 2003.

Dr. Schranz graduated from the Health Policy Fellowship Class of 2008.  While a Fellow, Dr. Schranz's research included veteran's health care issues and the Texas Medicaid program.
