Athens, County, Ohio, Population 64,608, seeks a qualified individual for the position of COUNTY PLANNER.  The position reports to the Board of County Commissioners and works with the Regional Planning Commission and other subdivisions.  Duties consist of:

 strategic planning, coordination with grant applications, management and oversight of Athens County Park Systems, implementation and  enforcement of subdivision and  flood plain regulations, bikeway development, and other planning related duties.  Qualifications

 include: Bachelors Degree, Planning Degree preferred or 5 yrs experience in planning related issues related to rural areas or equivalent studies and work experience, and good management skills. Salary rage $55,000 to $65,000.  <b class="">Submit resume and
