invites applications for PhD and MS positions. The department offers PhD and MS degrees in Geography, a PhD degree in Climatology, and a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Science. Students can also pursue the university's MS degree in Data Science
through the Geospatial Data Science Cluster.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">We have a growing faculty in Geospatial Data Science specialized in GIScience, Remote Sensing, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics and Modeling, with applications in Land Change Science, Human Dimensions of Climate

quantitative methods (e.g., spatial analysis and modeling, statistics), programing (e.g., Python, R), database management, and geo-computation. Prior research experience in geography and environmental science is a plus.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
