<p class="m_5832982766666961080m_-7665553435652499805x_MsoNormal">Seeking a motivated and curious researcher to assist with diverse food systems research for an approximately six month time-period. Research topics will include food and nutritional security
and climate change, agricultural and rural resilience, food waste behaviors and policy, and agricultural and food policy. Specific duties to be performed may include literature reviews and research analysis, assistance with planning and implementing interviews
and focus groups with farmers and rural community members, data analysis including statistical analysis, data visualizations, and research writing for both academic and lay audiences (e.g. via policy and research briefs). The ideal candidate should have experience
in multiple research methods including qualitative, but especially quantitative statistical methods, literature searches, and research writing. Data visualization and graphic design skills a plus. Benefits include the opportunity to contribute to a growing
food systems research lab with diverse research interests and students, capacity to engage with food system stakeholders through research, and potential to contribute to both academic and non-academic outputs and inform policy decisions both at the state and
federal level. The position will be funded for approximately six months, 20 hours a week, with a start date as soon as possible. An undergraduate degree in a relevant field is required, master’s degree or coursework or professional experience in food systems
and research highly desired. </p>
