The Location Analysis concentration of the MA in Geography program at UNC Charlotte has been one of the most respected programs in Business Geographics for over 30 years. The UNC Charlotte Department of Geography
and Earth Sciences has completed substantial updates to the Location Analysis MA program under the guidance of an eight member advisory council of industry professionals. We are currently accepting applications for Fall 2016 and financial support is available
for qualified students. The program's students are also in high demand for local paid internships. Our full-time job placement record has been extraordinary with the demand for our graduates far outstripping supply over the past three years.

The program has a long history of successful job placement in the fields of facility location, real estate development and economic development. Recent graduates are employed as analysts and department heads at companies such as Bank of America, Lowes, Wells
Fargo, Target, Harley Davidson, Delhaize, Fifth-Third Bank, The Fresh Market, Wendy’s, ESRI and Family Dollar. Our alumni form an active network who assist with student placement, provide guest lectures and mentor current students. In addition to the alumni
network an advisory council of industry professionals has also been established to strengthen connections to current best practices. More information about the program can be found at
