one 100% time position as research and administrative assistant, providing keyboarding support to a senior researcher in the Department of Global Ecology. The person who fills this position will be responsible for a range of research and administrative activities.
The focus of research (~70% of time) will be assessment of scientific understanding of climate change, including assessment by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. The goal of the work will be to improve methods for synthesizing and communicating
knowledge of climate-related risks and response options, to empower responses in a changing climate. Projects will evaluate the effectiveness of past assessment efforts and develop new methods of assessment, reflecting needs for expert judgment and creative
conceptualizations of the climate challenge.
