The successful applicants will work on the projects hosted by the new Center for Human Dynamics in the Mobile Age (HDMA) <a href="http://humandynamics.sdsu.edu/"><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>http://humandynamics.sdsu.edu/</span></a> related to data analytics, social media, and human dynamics modeling starting in Fall 2015.<br><br>The preferred candidates should have strong interests in Geographic Information Science, data analytics, machine learning, agent-based modeling, and scientific visualization applied to human dynamics in the contexts of urban geography, social behavior, social media, disaster mitigation, public health, and/or epidemiology.
