[Geog_Jobs] FW: GIS summer internship in Invasive Species Management with USFWS

Hi there,

My name is Cait Dunne and I'm a Member Manager with American Conservation Experience.
I am recruiting for an Invasive Species Member at Ohio River Islands National Wildlife Refuge in collaboration with the US Fish and Wildlife Service. The main duties are GIS mapping of invasive plants, removal of invasive plants, and assisting with biological surveys.

This is a 12-week position, perfect for a student in between semesters, beginning in late May/early June and ending in mid-August. There is a living allowance of $500/week, as well as the opportunity to receive an AmeriCorps Education Award (450hrs) of $1,956. This position does not include housing, which is why we were looking for local students.
