[Geog_Jobs] Internship Opportunity: Village of Indian Hill

The Village of Indian Hill is offering two GIS internships this summer:



GIS Intern<https://indianhill.gov/job/gis-intern/> - The GIS Intern will support the Village of Indian Hill’s Public Works and Water Works Departments by assisting with the management and maintenance of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data related to water utility infrastructure, stormwater systems, and public works projects. This position provides hands-on experience in field data collection, GIS database management, and public engagement, while supporting the Village’s commitment to high-quality service and operational efficiency.

Rowe Arboretum Intern<https://indianhill.gov/job/rowe-arboretum-intern/> - The intern will support Rowe Arboretum and Village of Indian Hill initiatives maintaining Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data related to plantings, inventory and trees. This role offers hands-on experience in field data collection and GIS database management. Field experience in botany and/or ecology to support understanding of the collections is a plus

Application Process

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The Village of Indian Hill will begin evaluating applications immediately and will continue accepting them until the internship position is filled. Applicants must submit, at a minimum, a resume and academic transcript for consideration.

To be eligible, candidates must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or a non-citizen with valid authorization to work in the United States, and must be currently enrolled in an accredited educational institution. The selected candidate will be required to successfully complete a drug screening and background investigation. Finalists will also be asked to provide a list of professional or academic references.
