[Geog_Jobs] FW: Dr. Isaac Memorial Service arrangements: send to alumni

Hello Geography / Meteorology alum,

If you haven’t heard, Dr. Ronald Isaac, a professor and former department chair in Geography and founder of the meteorology major at OHIO, passed away in January 2023 after a return of his cancer.  We are having a memorial service / celebration of life event to honor him, where there will be plenty of opportunity for anyone to share stories and memories of Dr. Isaac.  Please see below for details, and we hope to see you there.

WHEN: Saturday, August 5th starting at 11:00am
WHERE: Galbreath Chapel, Ohio University campus
Parking is free in most university lots on weekends.  The closest lots are by Morton Hall (math building) or Patton Hall (education building) - you can then walk up to Galbreath from there.
LUNCHEON: There will be an informal luncheon following the service in Baker Center 230-231.  All are welcome.

If you can’t make it and have a memory to share, please feel free to send it along to Ryan Fogt (fogtr at ohio.edu<mailto:fogtr at ohio.edu>), who is co-coordinating the memorial.
