UToledo's Department of Geography and Planning offers multiple degrees and certificates:
* Graduate Certificate in Regional and Urban Planning
* Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Science and Applied Geographics
* M.A. in Geography
* Ph.D. in Spatially Integrated Social Science (SISS)
The Department is now accepting applications for Fall 2021 admission with review of candidates to begin starting February 1st. We anticipate stipend and tuition waiver support will be available for new admissions to the M.A. in Geography and SISS Ph.D. programs for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Areas of specialization within the graduate programs and current research focus includes:
* Geospatial Technologies
* Spatial and Locational Analysis
* GIS and Remote Sensing Applications
* Environmental Geography
* Transportation Planning
