[Geog_Jobs] PAID Summer Local Government Internships in Central and Southeastern Ohio

The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) is hiring summer interns to work throughout central and southeastern Ohio. They seek students interested in urban and rural planning, land use, sustainability, public administration, and more. It’s a great opportunity for planning students who want to see how local government works.

You apply to MORPC and they match you with a local government, based on your background and geographic specifications. This year, they anticipate opportunities in Perry County, Chillicothe, Hocking County, and Circleville, among others.

They prefer students who are juniors/rising seniors, but they have taken students who are earlier in their college experience, so do apply!  We have had 2 to 3 geography students participate in this program each summer, since it began. See the link below for more information and to apply. They are hiring NOW, I believe.
