Employment Opportunity - GIS Analyst
Ohio - Kentucky - Indiana Regional Council of Governments is seeking a qualified, FT professional to fill a GIS Analyst position.  The qualified candidate will complete GIS/mapping projects, generate GIS data, develop spatial databases to support land use planning, transportation planning, economic development and environmental planning.  Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Cartography, GIS or closely related field, plus a minimum of 6 months experience.   Key technical experience should include: ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, Python, relational databases, Microsoft Access, Word, and Excel. Must have strong GIS skills and effective oral, written and interpersonal skills.  The ability to work confidently and independently is essential.  Starting salary range is commensurate with experience; beginning range is $43k - $48k.
