Please see the email I received from Wayne National Forest below. These event is in Madison, OH, but there are two positions open in Ohio.

Here is the pre-announcement information for the US Forest Service hiring event in Madison, WI at the SAF Convention. This is primarily geared toward student and recent graduate hiring. Wayne National Forest is hiring 2 positions, both located in Pedro, OH (Ironton Ranger District). One will be a GS 5/7/9 Forester (0460 job series) and the other will be a GS 4/5 Forestry Technician (0462 job series). Both Wayne NF positions will be hired under the Recent Graduate hiring authority. Follow the links to the hiring authority requirements below. The U.S. Forest Service will conduct a Student and Recent Graduate Hiring Event at the 2016 Society of American Foresters Convention<http://www.xcdsystem.com/safconference/website/>, held November 2-6 in Madison, Wisconsin.  Over 140 Pathways Student Intern<https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/hiring-information/students-recent-graduates/#intern> and Recent Graduate<https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/hiring-information/students-recent-graduates/#graduates> positions will be available at the event. Many of these positions are for foresters, forestry technicians, natural resource managers, or biological technicians. In addition, a few of the positions will be for fisheries and wildlife biologists, and GIS technicians.  On-site applications will be accepted at the Society of American Foresters (SAF) Convention in Madison, Wisconsin, from 2 p.m. to 7p.m. on November 2nd, and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on November 3rd.
