Examples of Duties: (1) Teach the following college-level courses in the Earth Sciences Department: Physical Geography, Physical Geography Laboratory, Cultural Geography, World Regional Geography, Economic Geography, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). (2) Teach day, evening, and/or Saturday classes on and off campus as required. (3) Perform duties associated with instruction and assessing student progress in relation to identified student learning outcomes. (4) Participate in departmental and college-wide functions such as committee work, staff meetings, and curriculum development.
Minimum Qualifications: (1) Earned Master's Degree or higher in Geography from an accredited institution, or the equivalent. (2) Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with community college students with disabilities, various sexual orientations, and diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.

Appointment: Fall Semester 2016
Initial Salary Placement: Based on verified and accepted educational/work experience. The annual salary range upon entry is from $52,029 to $78,152 for 175 days of service.
