Hi All,
We have a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) that will be held this summer at the University of Toledo's Lake Erie Center. We are looking to 10 students students for the 9 week program and students will receive a $5,000 stipend and food allowance as well as room in a dormitory. Our REU focuses on the water crisis that the city of Toledo had last summer when a Harmful Algal Bloom (HAB) contaminated the drinking water for 500,000 people. We are seeking students from a wide range of backgrounds include most sciences, engineering, geography and policy. Please see the attached flyer and let your students know about this opportunity.
