Ph.D. Assistantship in Environmental Management Specializing in Urban GIS, Spatial Analysis and Modeling, and Urban Geography, Montclair State University. Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey seeks highly motivated PhD Assistants to join the PhD program in Environmental Management with specialization in Urban GIS, Spatial Analysis and Modeling, and Urban Geography, starting from the fall semester of 2015. Applicants are expected to have a strong background in Urban Geography, Spatial Data Analysis, Statistical Modeling skills, or other related fields. The PhD student is expected to work in urban GIS, spatial data analysis technology development, urban environmental management, urban sustainable development simulation, urban public safety/health and other urban fields. Experience with R language and development environment is a plus. The current application deadline for the 2015 Fall semeter is March 15, 2015.
