As a Geographer within the Western Ecological Research Center, some of your specific duties will include:

- Uses geographic information systems and other software programs in the inventory, collection and analysis of geospatial data, web services and metadata

- Inventories geospatial data, web services, and metadata from a variety of sources

- Supports the development of digital geospatial data and metadata

- Supports the dissemination of digital geospatial data and information by providing technical support and developing metadata, web pages, and databases to facilitate the discovery and access to geospatial data
