Position Notes

*         The internship is located at ABC News' headquarters in New York, NY

*         The position is open to both current Undergraduates & Master's candidates as well as May/June 2014 graduates

*         The position is a paid internship opportunity

*         Students will be responsible for providing their own housing & transportation throughout the internship

*         The student will have the opportunity to contribute to coverage for Good Morning America, World News with Diane Sawyer, World News Weekend, Nightline and other special broadcasts

Program Eligibility Requirements
*All students must be eligible to work in the US
*All students must be at least 18 years old
*You must be currently enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university and taking at least one class - OR - must have graduated from an accredited U.S. college/university within 6 months of the start date of the internship for which you are applying OR be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program in order to qualify for this internship
*All students must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship
*Candidate must be pursuing at least a BA/BS in meteorology.
*General knowledge of meteorological resources including National Weather Service, computer modeling websites, SPC and ability to find LSR's.
*Ability to navigate social media websites
