Subject: FW: Two new Job Openings in CMM

Greetings – wanted to share these two job openings at USAID’s Office of Conflict Management and Mitigation. Maybe something of interest to your former students and colleagues. They are GS 13/14 slots so for people who have been out of school with some experience already.  This office is a small cross-cutting by topic, region, and office within USAID that is in a research, training, and support role for field-based missions and partners. It is not a field-based implementer. So they are looking for people with research, analysis, backgrounds – big emphasis on quant skills for at least the first position.

I’ve worked on projects from this office for the past 7 years so happy to provide more context if that would be helpful although my point of entry has been natural resources, food, climate, governance points of entry and they look at a lot more that I am not as connected with.

Kindly let your networks know that CMM is currently advertising two new positions, one is focused on policy development and the other is focused on research and analysis. Both positions are competitive all-source announcements (meaning any U.S. citizen can apply). Both announcements are now up on USAjobs - one closes on December 15 and the other on December 16.
