Emeriti Park Volunteer Day, Wed. March 18 Reminder

Hello, everyone! This is a reminder.


Our next day to work in the Emeriti Park will be Wednesday, March 18, from 10am-2pm. Just come directly to the park and look for the 4-Wheeler with shovels in it.
It looks like it will be cold Tuesday night but will probably be warm enough by 10am.


We will plan 2-hour shifts (10am-noon, noon - 2pm), but please feel free to come when you can.


The OU Plant Club might be joining us this time, and we are very pleased to welcome them! Thanks for volunteering the Club, Brennan.


If you think you would like to work around what was a waterfall, please bring waterproof boots, as it will be marshy.
Also, bring work gloves and any clippers that you like to work with. Make sure they are sharp, clean, and labeled with your name. You may need a hat and sunscreen.


Grounds will supply everything else that we need, as well as expert guidance.


Heavy rain, or snow, or sleet, and we will cancel. I will let you know.


Please respond to me (not to "all") if you plan to volunteer on March 18, and let me know what time you can come.
