Alan Boyd

Dear Emeriti:

I apologize for my lateness in reporting this news, but with sadness I report the passing of Alan Boyd, Director Emeritus of International Student and Faculty Services. Alan passed away on June 8th .

Alan was very active in the Emeriti Association and as many of you know,  served as President of the association and also as a member of the Emeriti Association governing board. More recently, Alan and his wife Sue have been serving as the Emeriti Luncheon host and hostess.

Alan led a very full life which is described in his obituary. Below you will find a link to his obituary which appeared in the Athens Messenger.

Alan will be greatly missed in the association. May he rest in peace.
