[Emeritiassoc] OCHER Letter concerning STRS

Dear Ohio University Emeriti Association Members,

The Ohio Council of Higher Education Retirees (OCHERS) has prepared a letter expressing concerns regarding the operation and policies of the Ohio State Teachers Retirement System (STRS) , in particular concerns regarding the operation of the STRS Board.

Our OU Emeriti Association OCHERS representative, Mike Williford, shared the letter with me this morning. We have been asked to disseminate the letter to the OU Emeriti Association members in order to communicate OCHERS concerns regarding STRS.

Attached you will find the letter. If you are a member of STRS, I ask that you take the time to read the letter to familiarize yourself with the OCHERS concerns. At the end of the letter, you will see that OCHERS invites you to contact the OCHERS president directly if you have any questions or comments regarding the content of the letter.
