[Emeritiassoc] September Emeriti Luncheon

Dear Emeriti Colleagues,

I am sending this e-mail as a reminder the first Emeriti Association Luncheon of the academic year will be held in the Ohio University Inn second floor ballroom on September 11th (2nd Thursday of the month) at 11:30am. Ohio University President Dr. Lori Stewart Gonzalez will be our speaker for the luncheon. Dr. Gonzalez will speak regarding the current state of the university and will also help us welcome the 20 Emeriti joining the association this year.

The meal for the luncheon will be a plated meal consisting of beef pot roast with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans with ice tea, water and coffee for beverages. There will be no cost for the September luncheon for all Emeriti and their spouses/partners, however the other luncheons throughout the year will cost $25 per person which includes tax and gratuity.

If you plan to attend the September Luncheon, please RSVP by sending an e-mail to Sue Boyd (suenboyd at gmail.com) no later than noon on Friday, September 5th.It is very important that you RSVP for the luncheon in order for us to have an accurate count of the number of meals needed. If you prefer a vegatarian meal please let Sue know this when you RSVP.
