[Emeritiassoc] [External] Reservation reminder, November 16 Emeriti luncheon

Reservation reminder: November's Emeriti luncheon is scheduled for next week Thursday, November 16 at 11:30 AM at the Athens Country Club. The cost is $23 per person. Please have exact change or a check made payable to the OU Emeriti Association.

The deadline for reservations is this Thursday November 9 at noon at which time the reservation count will be called in. If you haven't already done so, email Tom Franz at <franz at ohio.edu<mailto:franz at ohio.edu>> with your luncheon reservation(s).

As noted in the Emeriti Notes for November 2023, sent to you earlier and also available at this link: <https://www.ohio.edu/emeriti/news>, the speaker will be Betty Hixenbaugh, Executive Director of The Athens Village, an organization "founded to give Athens Countians age 60+ the confidence and practical ways to live their lives to the fullest in their own homes".

The luncheon will be served buffet style and the menu is tentatively planned as:

   •  Chicken Marsala

   •  Mashed Potatoes

   •  Green Beans Amandine (or sautéed vegetables)

   •  Light Dessert

   •  Beverages: Water, Coffee, Tea
