[Emeritiassoc] [External] Reservation reminder, September 14 Emeriti luncheon

Reservation reminder: September's Emeriti luncheon is scheduled for Thursday, September 14 at 11:30 AM at the Athens Country Club. The cost is $23 per person. Please have exact change or a check made payable to the OU Emeriti Association.  There is no charge for new  Emeriti who are our guests for this luncheon.

The deadline for reservations is next week Thursday September 7 at noon at which time the reservation count will be called in. If you haven't already done so, email Tom Franz at <franz at ohio.edu<mailto:franz at ohio.edu>> with your luncheon reservation(s).  Also let Tom know if you would prefer a vegetarian dish.  Tom has reminded us that Route 56 has been subject to some traffic delays due to construction, so plan on some extra time for traveling to the Country Club.

The program will feature a welcoming introduction of the new Emeriti for Academic Year 2022-23 with a special welcome to Ohio University President Lori Stewart Gonzalez who will update us on happenings at the University. The luncheon will be served buffet style and the menu will be:

   • Pork tenderloin with apple glaze

   • Scalloped potatoes

   • Green vegetable (beans)

   • Light dessert with beverages   (Coffee, Tea, Water)
