In the 20 years I have been doing the Expo, this has been one of the toughest to recruit judges.
I know there are legitimate reasons, but I desperately need to recruit judges for the following sessions by Wednesday.
We welcome emeriti, faculty, staff and postdocs and community members with expertise.
Please email me asap if you are available
Judging is Thursday April 7, 9:00-11:30 am (show up 8:45 am to meet partner judge)
Where: In-person (LIVE) @Convo
Available Sessions:
Chemical Engineering
Communication Studies
Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences
Emerging Communication Technologies
Environmental Plant Biology
Geology/Geography
Physics/Astronomy
Political Science
Environmental Studies
More about Judging:
Two judges are assigned to judge each session.
Judges are assigned based on familiarity with the session subject area BUT are not assigned to their own department/schools.
Each presentation should have two parts:
* Presentation of the pre-prepared materials, e.g., the poster, exhibit, or performance.
* Follow up Q&A with the judges.
Different judging criteria may be more appropriate for different formats and are at the discretion of the judges.
Thank you,
Roxanne
and
Scott
