       Reservation reminder:  This month's Emeriti luncheon is scheduled for next week Thursday, March 17, St. Patrick's Day, at 11:30 AM at the OU Inn.
       If you haven't already done so, email Tom Franz at <franz at ohio.edu<mailto:franz at ohio.edu>> with your luncheon reservation. The deadline for reservations is Monday the 14th at noon at which time the reservation count will be called in to the OU Inn.  The cost is $18. Please have exact change or a check made payable to the OU Emeriti Association.
      The menu will be:
--Chicken Marsala
--Roasted Red Potatoes
--Asparagus
--Assorted Desserts

This meeting will also be available via Zoom as a hybrid. Details for the Zoom connection will be sent next week.

The speaker will be Corinne Colbert, who teaches Technical Writing in the Industrial & Systems Engineering Department and is now the former Editor of the Athens News.  Quoting Colbert, "I loved the job. I’m glad I stood up for readers, even if it cost my job. I left with a smile and my head held high."
