[Emeritiassoc] Reminder, first program of the academic year, September 19

Dear Emeriti and Friends,

A letter of invitation from Scott Malcom, Emeriti Membership Chair and Alan
Boyd, Emeriti President, was sent to Emeriti and Friends last month
regarding the first program of the 2019-20 academic year .  Apparently a
few emeriti did not receive that letter which included the following
details:

"The first program of this academic year will be September 19, at 11:30 at
the Ohio University Inn and will be centered on welcoming new emeriti.  All
emeriti and their spouses are considered as members of the Emeriti
Association and all (especially new emeriti) are encouraged to attend this
meeting which includes a luncheon followed by recognition of new emeriti,
and an address by President Nellis.  There is NO CHARGE for the lunch for
all those attending.  However, REGISTRATION is REQUIRED. Please contact Tom
Franz by email,
<franz at ohio.edu> to let him know that you will be attending the luncheon by
Friday September 13."

The programs for the academic year are scheduled for the third Thursday of
each month through May of 2020.
