  *   Daniel K.C. Shao Scholarship: Provides up to $2,500 support to any Ohio University student to study abroad as part of their program of study, with a preference for Hong Kong, China, or other Asian countries.

Note that the application to this funding is a common application; students would not be eligible for any other CIS funding listed on the page which is directed towards our students. We have also just awarded funds for the Shao this cycle, it will open again in August (funding is for fall/spring/summer 2027).
