[Eecs_phd] ACM Meeting Tonight

Hi everyone!

ACM will be meeting tonight in ARC 106 at 7:30 PM, where senior undergraduate in computer science, Catherine Baugher, will give a brief overview of bioinformatics. At the end of the meeting, we will also discuss ICPC,  an international programming contest hosted by ACM. The contest will be held October 27-28th, and is open to anyone who wishes to participate. However, only 12 people from Ohio University are able to attend, so attendance will be limited. Everyone who attends ICPC will also receive free ACM student membership, which will give access to the ACM Learning Center, a large collection of online books and informational videos,  and ACM Digital Library, which includes over 2 million pages of text.
