[Eecs_phd] Gensuite information session and other ACM news

Tomorrow (Thursday) at 7:30 p.m. in ARC 106 ACM will be hosting an information session by software company Gensuite. Employees from the company will be presenting on who they are and what they do, and will be available to answer any questions and talk with those interested in joining the company.

Other OU ACM news:
Starting this week, ACM will be hosting weekly homework help/tutoring sessions every Friday from 6pm-7pm in ARC 106.

Jobs and projects:
Seeking qualified individual to generate user manuals for two software projects.
Tasks involve taking screen shots from software and incorporating them into a LaTeX document, creating a skeleton of sections enumerating existing features to be populated later by someone trained in the software (which may or may not be the applicant), some proofreading of other contributions.


Skills Required:

o Fluent in English (adequate spelling and grammar)
o adept with LaTeX
o familiar with Git (able to push and pull without stomping on an entire repository)



Workload: ~10-15 hours a week, at your leisure.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience, opportunity to transition into developer role based on aptitude.
