[Eecs_phd] Open Full Time Positions at NASA Glenn Research Center

Hello,

I know the semester is ending (or ended) but we have a few positions open that I think both graduating seniors/recent graduates and alumni would find interesting.  If you could share them with any and all potentially interested applicants, I'd greatly appreciate it. If there are other means to share Alumni positions, please let me know and I will be happy to contact (or post, whichever is preferable).  Thank you very much as always!

I am writing to you today to notify you of unique and exciting job opportunities at the Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio.  We have posted two job announcements (eligibility based on education and/or work experience) for multiple Professional Engineering positions. We are hiring in various engineering disciplines, and you may be considered for multiple jobs with one application!  We have also posted a third position for Aerospace Engineers.

These positions are in various fields but may include: Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Electronics and Aerospace Engineers.  There are many majors that would make you eligible for consideration.  They include:

A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university with major study in: Aeronautical Engineering, Aeronautics, Aerospace Engineering, Astronautical Engineering, Astronautics, Astronomy, Astrophysics, Biomedical Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, Ceramics, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science*, Life Science, Earth and Planetary Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Mathematics (Pure or Applied), Applied Mechanics, Engineering Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Metallurgy, Meteorology, Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Engineering Physics, Oceanography, Optical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, Engineering Physics, Space Science, Structural Engineering, Welding Engineering or other appropriate physical science or engineering field. Degrees in engineering technology are not considered to be qualifying for this position.

While this announcement will be open until August 5th, you must apply prior to May 17th for immediate consideration.

There are two announcements separated by grade (eligibility based on education and/or experience level).

-you have a bachelor's degree and one year of professional engineering experience (you will be eligible for a GS-9)
