My name is Joanne, and I'm on the organizing team for HopHacks, the official student-run hackathon hosted at Johns Hopkins University. Our Fall 2025 hacker applications are open until Friday, August 29th, and we'd love for your students to join us from September 12-14 for a weekend of building, learning, and connecting!

Students can expect to:

  *   Engage in 36 hours of coding, problem-solving, and innovating.

  *   Build an app, product, or tool as part of a team.

  *   Attend workshops led by industry experts, startup founders, and alumni in leading tech roles.

  *   Network with recruiters and engineers from sponsoring companies.

  *   Compete for cash prizes and track-based awards.

  *   Enjoy free meals, snacks, late-night coffee, merch, and sponsor giveaways.

  *   Walk away with a project to feature on their resume and in interviews.
