[Eecs_mscs] Winners of the 1st Annual School of EECS Poster Competition

Hello,

We are pleased to announce the winners of the 1st Annual School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Poster Competition held during the 2024 Fall EECS Retreat at Burr Oak Lodge on Friday, Oct.4, 2024.

The 1st place Best Poster Award goes to PhD student Jacob Schaupp for "On the Suitability of Synthetic Imagery For Training Atmospheric Visibility Estimators" presentation advised by Dr. Chad Mourning.

The 2nd place Best Poster Award goes to PhD student Siqin Liu for the "Carbon Emission-Based Sustainability Model For Photonic Neural Network Accelerators" presentation advised by Dr. Avinash Karanth.

The winners can pick up the certificates from the EECS office front desk, please contact Tiffany Hunter. The monetary awards will be transferred directly to the student's account.
