Subject: Looking for web designers and web developers for The Post


Are you interested in web design and web development? Do you want to get involved and gain hands-on experience right away? Well, The Post is the place for you!


I'm Taylor Johnston, the Digital Managing Editor for The Post, an editorially independent, award-winning, student run media outlet on campus.


We are currently searching for more staff members who are interested in helping to design and code special projects for our website. Currently, we mainly use HTML and CSS to create webpages, with a little bit of JavaScript to create interactive elements.


You DO NOT have to have previous experience with coding, because we would love to help you grow your skills through working with us! If you are already comfortable with coding, this is a great way to strengthen your skills by using them on a daily/weekly basis.


Me and Mijana (Midge) Mazur, the Web Development Director for The Post, will be hosting a recruitment meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 7:30 p.m. in our newsroom in Baker University Center (Room 325) to see who all is interested. From there, we will begin working on dates/times for upcoming coding workshops and assigning projects.
