Job Description We have an immediate need to fill a part-time technical position. The position would involve the duties of both an electronics technician and an engineering assistant. Technician duties may include the following: • Calibration of test equipment • Troubleshooting test equipment • Repairing test equipment (i.e. soldering, wiring) • Initializing and programming printed circuit boards • Assembling camera and sensor products Engineering assistant duties may include the following: • Creating or updating schematics using CAD software • Assisting with R&D for new products • Assisting with printed circuit board design using Altium Designer • Assisting engineers with prototyping and testing of circuit designs • Writing code in C / C++ Minimum Qualifications • Must be currently enrolled as an Electrical Engineering student • Prefer students who have completed at least one circuit analysis course • Prefer students who are familiar with C or C++ • Must be dependable and motivated to learn Work Hours We are looking for a student (or students) who can work between 5 – 20 hours per week.
