[Eecs_bsee] Electrical Engineering Entry Level Position at Sherwin-Williams

My name is Lindsey, and I am a Recruiter for The Sherwin-Williams Company. Right now I am seeking to fill an entry-level position for a student who is graduating in Spring 2019. This is a full-time salaried position with benefits. This position is part of our "Accelerated Development Program", and would specifically be an Electrical Engineering role. We would like for this person to start in June, July, or August 2019.

The Accelerated Development Program is a 9-12 month program where Trainees are placed at a host site in the U.S. The program is used to help individuals understand the systems, tools, and processes within GSC. This will make our Trainees successful for their first position when graduating from the program. Upon completing the program, we encourage our Trainees to take on other developmental roles. Applicants must be open to relocation.

Basic Qualifications Required:


  *   2.8 Cumulative Gpa
  *   A 4-year Bachelor's degree
  *   Must not require sponsorship for citizenship now, or in the future.

We hire Trainees in the following specialties:

  *   EHS
  *   Engineering
  *   Quality/Chemist
  *   Human Resources
  *   Manufacturing/Production Supervisor
  *   Warehouse Supervisor

The program will also include training in these areas:


  *   1 week orientation at HQ - Transactional Lean, Accelerated Root Cause, Diversity& Inclusions training, Project Management, Presentation Skills 101
  *   1 week spent visiting another Plant and DSC with the class. Meet the team and help complete a CI project
  *   1 week swap - Visit another trainee of the same function at another site to see a different operation, then the trainee who hosted visits the visiting trainee for a week.
  *   3 Days at Graduation
