[Eecs_bsee] Pathways Intern Position for Electrical/Electronic Engineers open until 7/25!

I am writing to you today to encourage you to apply for a Pathways Intern opening at the Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio.  To be considered for this position you must list a graduation date of October 2017 or later.  This position is open to anyone pursuing an accredited degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

This Pathways Internships is intended to begin in the fall or winter of 2016 (no earlier than October 2016).  There are several flexible scheduling options, if you are interested and able to do rotations either during summers or other breaks, or also during a semester from school.  As long as you work 640 hours prior to graduation, there is flexibility on how you complete the hours.  It is not absolutely necessary to take a semester off of schools, but it's also an option. One specific item to pay attention to however, is that this program requires the student to be in school for at least one calendar year prior to graduation, so if you are interested and willing, you MUST indicate on your resume that your graduation date would be October of 2017 or later. *If you are a graduating senior, and are accepted into graduate school, please put the planned graduate degree date as your graduation date.

While this is an intern position, it is ultimately intended to lead to a full time job after graduation.

Pathways Program Requirements:
-Be a U.S. Citizen
-Be enrolled at least half time as defined by your ABET accredited educational institution
-Have a cumulative GPA of 2.9 or higher (we do not round up)
-Be able to work 640 hours at NASA Glenn prior to graduation (can be part or full time work schedules; some students work 1 summer and 1 winter break, some complete all of their hours in 1 summer, some work part time all year, and some take a semester off to work at Glenn)
-Have at least one calendar year left in school prior to graduation by your start date
Summary: This Pathways Intern position is for an engineering student trainee in the Diagnostics and Electromagnetics Branch located in the Power Division of the Research and Engineering Directorate at the NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC). The Branch performs team and technical leadership for flight hardware design, development, integration, qualification and acceptance testing. Designs, develops and certifies Electrical Ground Support Equipment and test support equipment.
