 Chemours (formerly a part of DuPont) Interviews - Please send resumes by Monday, February 15 at 5:00 p.m.

Chemours (formerly a part of DuPont) from the Belpre, OH/Parkersburg, WV area, will be on campus to interview later in February.  Please send your resume to me by Monday, February 15 at 5:00 p.m. if you wish to be interviewed.  Be prepared for a follow-up Email from me to select an interview time as I will need to prepare the schedule quickly.  Please notice the qualifications listed below for the Co-op positions.  Chemours will not interview students below a 3.0 GPA.

Co-op Job Description:

The co-op program of Chemours (formerly a part of DuPont) creates assignments that allow you to apply your educational knowledge to cutting-edge, real-world technology. Our participants alternate their work assignments and academic terms to maximize their learning potential. Students typically start work sometime after their sophomore year and work a minimum of three industrial work periods (assignment lengths vary according to school calendars).

Co-op positions are commonly available for majors in:

* Chemical Engineering
* Electrical Engineering
* Mechanical Engineering


Qualifications:

Minimum Criteria to be considered for an interview include:
* Legally allowed to work in the United States - without restrictions
* Be in their Sophomore or Junior year in the 2015-2016 Academic year
* Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering at an ABET accredited school
* Maintains a 3.0 GPA or greater, entering and during the CO-OP (4.0 Scale)
* Able to commit to a minimum of 3 work sessions (Summer 2016, Spring 2017 and Fall 2017)
